Terms of Service

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using cbAlerts.net ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What cbAlerts is

cbAlerts is an independent tool that displays alert graphics on your live stream when events happen in your Chaturbate room. It reads events using credentials you provide and renders overlays you configure.

cbAlerts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Chaturbate or its parent companies. Chaturbate is a trademark of its respective owner. We depend on their public Events API, which they may change or withdraw at any time.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and provide a working email address.
• During beta, registration requires a valid invite code.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account.
• Your overlay URL contains a secret key. Anyone with that URL can view your overlay, so treat it like a password. You can regenerate it from your dashboard at any time.
• One person or brand per account. Do not share accounts.

4. Chaturbate credentials

To relay real events, you supply a Chaturbate Events API token. You confirm that the account is yours or that you are authorised to use it. We encrypt the token before storing it and never expose it to your browser or your overlay page.

You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard. We recommend generating a token limited to the Events API scope only.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to display content that is illegal where it is viewed.
• Upload or display content involving anyone under 18, or anyone who has not consented to appear.
• Upload material you do not have the rights to use, including copyrighted audio and images.
• Attempt to access another user's account, overlay key, or data.
• Probe, scan, overload or disrupt the Service, or attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication.
• Resell or rebrand the Service without written permission.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or configure. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display that content as part of running the Service for you.

We may remove content that breaks these terms or that we are legally required to remove.

7. Payment

Paid plans are billed in Litecoin (LTC) as a one-off payment for a fixed period. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel; access simply ends when the paid period does.

Cryptocurrency payments are final and irreversible. Please read our Refund Policy before paying.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third parties, including Chaturbate's API and our hosting and database providers, and can be affected by their outages.

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, with notice where practical and immediately where the breach is serious.

If we terminate your account for reasons other than a breach by you, we will refund the unused portion of a paid period where we reasonably can.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, cbAlerts is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost income, lost viewers, or lost tips arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will notify you by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
